The Look
The 466 Scrolls & Sapphires buckle showcases Bohlin’s approach to ornamental design, where intricate filigree is used to create depth, movement, and balance across the entire surface.
Built on the classic 466 form, the buckle is fully composed of hand-cut scrollwork and floral overlays, each element carefully shaped and placed to create a continuous pattern. Blue sapphires are set within each flower, adding contrast and subtle color against the sterling silver field. The result is a richly detailed composition that reads as a complete surface of layered silverwork, framed by a rope edge that defines the piece.
